For owners

Already have tenants? Run them here.

You don’t need a vacancy to use sahayogi. Bring the tenants you already have, and the monthly paperwork — bills, receipts, TDS, the reminders — stops living in a copybook and a chat thread.

For owners

The parts that eat your month

Four things every landlord does by hand, done once and kept on record:

Billing on the Nepali calendar

Rent and utilities generate on your own cycle, dated in Bikram Sambat alongside the Gregorian date — so a bill reads the way you and your tenant already think about the month.

TDS withheld and certified

Withhold tax on rent automatically, keep remittance challans against it, and download a certificate for the Bikram Sambat fiscal year when the tenant or your accountant asks.

Collect by QR

Your own wallet or bank QR sits on the bill the tenant is reading. They scan and pay where the amount is shown, instead of asking you which number to send it to.

Receipts that settle the argument

Every payment you verify becomes a receipt both sides can open later, and each tenancy keeps a running statement — what was billed, what was paid, what is still open.

Getting started

Bring an existing tenancy over in an evening

Nothing is published to the marketplace unless you choose to list a unit.

1

Add the building and its units

Rooms, flats, shutters — whatever you actually rent out. A unit you keep for yourself can stay private, and private units never appear anywhere public.

2

Add the tenants you already have

Record the rent, the advance, and the start date as they stand today. If a tenant has no smartphone, you can run the tenancy entirely from your side.

3

Generate this month’s bill

Send it, collect by QR or cash, and mark it paid. From the second month it repeats on the cycle you set.

An old tenancy that started years ago is fine — you enter it as it stands now, not from the beginning.

Questions owners ask

Before you move a tenant over

What does it cost?

Listing and the rental management tools are free during early access. If that ever changes, we say so on the pricing page before it applies — no charge appears on a bill you have already sent.

Does my tenant have to use the app?

No. You can run a tenancy on your own — record cash, mark bills paid, print receipts. A tenant who does join gets their bills, receipts and statement, and you stop repeating yourself over the phone.

I collect rent in cash. Is that a problem?

No. Cash is a first-class payment here — you record what you received and the date, and the receipt and statement update exactly as they would for a QR payment.

Who can see my tenants’ details?

You, and anyone you deliberately give access to — a caretaker can be limited to one building, and an agency works under a verified organization account. Tenant contact details are never published on a listing.

How we plan to make money

Not by charging you for the tools you use every month. The paid ideas we are working toward sit around visibility and verification, and they will always be priced in the open. If you want the current position in full, the pricing page carries it.
