Hill and Terai land run on two different ladders, so a plot in Kathmandu and one in Butwal cannot be compared until one of them is converted. A plot is also registered and sold in whole rungs rather than decimals, which is the form shown above the ratios. The ratios are the official ones: 1 ropani is 16 aana, 1 aana is 4 paisa, 1 paisa is 4 daam, 1 bigha is 20 kattha and 1 kattha is 20 dhur. They are the same ratios the listings on this site are measured with.
